After examining the victim's bodies with Five, Jessica had quickly composed a
report accompanied by a small hologram containing every detail that she could
remember. Which, of course, was every detail that existed. Perfect memory
does come in handy, she thought with a small, pleased smile.

Now, she was busy researching the physiology and anatomy of all species
involved. She was rather fascinated with it all. Each species was so very
different from the others.  Maybe she would have to go in to biology next;
though chemistry was definately a lot of fun. And she had been planning to
study astrology. Thank goodness for the diversity of science. None of it
would ever get boring, she was certain of that.

Some of the information she was finding was unimportant, she didn't really care
about food preferences. Jessica did make a mental note to include anythink
that would prove toxic or would have any adverse effects to any species on
board. After all, if they had been poisoned then the one doing the deed would
have to be able to handle whatever substance they used safely. Or, mostly
safely. You never know what you would find. Not everyone had twin degrees in
chemistry and biology. Of course, neither did Jessica... at least, not yet.

Ten hours later, she had exhausted the ship's library of everything that
pertained to her research. Now she was ready to write her report. She smiled
wryly, thinking about her mother telling her that it was past her bedtime. No
need to worry; Jessica could always go to bed even earlier tomorrow, and she
was to engrossed in her work to sleep now anyway. Besides, her report would
merely be a condensed version of what she had found.

It didn't even take her very long to write it, as she never had to refer back
to any books and she knew exactly what she was going to write. As soon as she
finished, she forwarded it to her chief, as well as all the departments
involved in the investigation.

Now it was bedtime.
