SIM NOTES:
Next week, we will get into the actual mission. During the week, we still
have a ship to get used to. Excellent job on the logs last week. Thank you

"Into Firegon Space"
Officers present: Captain McCloud, Commander Jorel, Dr. COmpton, Lt. Hart
(Haas), Lt.jgs Banning, Moonshadows to Enien & Wren
Guests: Commodore Fyrstk (Pasteur Station), Captain Marqusa (Persephone)
Stardate: 64683.33 (09/07/2387, 10:00 hours)
The new captain, and former crew of the U.S.S. Eagle, NCC 9561, take the
new ship out for shakedown. They test out the sub-mode inside Firegon space.
They start tracking movements of the Firegon cruisers, and recording messages
to and from the same. The bridge also gets an unexpected visitor.

21:02 CaptMcCloud I have given the crew three days to become accustomed
to the new ship's systems. This has given me a chance to become familiar with
her as well.
21:03 CaptMcCloud I have had ample time to talk with Commander Jorel,
and..... I'm impressed. She has an excellent knowledge of this ship and she has
been doing her homework as far as the Firegon are concerned.
21:03 CaptMcCloud I have asked Lt. Hart to step in as my temporary chief
of engineering, and he has agreed.
21:06 CaptMcCloud In the last two days, we have tested out the sub-mode,
and have been watching the Firegon traffic for the last twenty-four hours.
21:07 CaptMcCloud Captain Marqusa has been returned to the Persephone,
and they are in the process of evading notice by the Firegon.
21:07 CaptMcCloud They know something is up, though. The fact that
Pathfinder and Persephone are not on visible patrol along their border has not
escaped their notice.
