Personal Profile:
Sara is the youngest child of Captain Stephanie Crusher, a professor of
history and culture at Star Fleet Academy, and Commander Jake Crusher of the
Diplomatic corp. Sara grew up in a very Star Fleet orientated atmosphere since
there
were and are several of her family members besides her parents in Star Fleet,
however the idea of joining Star Fleet and becoming an officer was never
forced on her, it was a choice left totally up to her..
Personally Sara’s closest relationships have been with her Mother,
Grandmothers and Aunt. She would spilt her time between these four women. When
she wasn’
t at home with her parents, Sara could be found spending long weekends in
Russia with her paternal grandparents, or school holidays with her maternal
grandmother on Betazied, or visiting with her Aunt when ever her ship was near
Earth.
Sara was raised with both human and Betazoid fundaments and has inherited her
mother’s empathic abilities as well as having a small amount of telepathic
ability. She tends to lean towards her Betazoid ideals more then her human ones
when it comes to matters which influence her life in major ways.
After finishing high school on Betazed, Sara decided to attend Star Fleet
Academy. She completed courses in such areas as command and aviation, but her
main focus was always on her pre-medical studies. She then attended Star Fleet
Medical School were she graduated in the top ten of her class. After completing
her internship she was assigned as an AMO to the U.S.S Banshee.
Personal Profile Update: I
Sara has been on the Banshee for several months now and fully considers her,
her home. Professionally she has made great strides, which are clearly evident
in her resent promotions. Although she has had her fair share of problems,
-she’s been reprimanded twice by her Captain- she doesn’t seem overly
stressed
or negatively effected by them.
Personally, her relationships with fellow crew and her adjustment to ship
life have gone well. She was reunited for a short time with a close friend from
her youth and has formed friendships with Cyanah Kaelyre and Josh Asper. Sara
also made time to date a little and is now in a relationship with someone.
Personal Update: II
Resent events have caused Sara to rediscover parts of her past that had been
repressed for nearly ten years. As a child Sara had had a very close personal
relationship with Rhiannon Morrigan and her family. Rhiannon was haired by Sara
’s mother her freshmen year at the academy to ‘baby-sit’ Sara and her
older
brother Matthew. At first Sara was scared of and butted heads with Rhiannon,
but the relationship grew and even though they still butted heads Sara no
longer feared Rhiannon but had ‘adopted’ her as an old sister. Sara spent
each
summer with Rhiannon at the Morrigan family home in Ireland which lead to Sara
having close family type ties to Rhiannon’s mother and twin brother.
Sara continues to make friends with her fellow crewmen. Her personal
relationships also continue to evolve. For example, Sara’s year long romance
with
Cyanah Kaelyre has taken an up turn following some difficult weeks after a lay
over on Earth.
Personal Update: III
Stress and rapid changes are nothing new to Sara’s life. Professionally she
saw a change in Banshee’s command line up, twice. First from the team of
Captain Rhiannon Morrigan and Commander Victor Andros to the team of Vice
Admiral
Grey and Commander Victor Andros, and then finally to the team of the now
Captain Victor Andros and Commander Cyanah Kaelyre. Personally the changes have
been
much easier. She’d become engaged to her long time lover Cyanah Kaelyre just
before the mission to JuJu III, and then in March of 2380 the two were finally
married in a private ceremony on Cyanah’s home planet of Delos with both
families in attendance.
Psychological Profile:
Sara has very high personal standards which have lead to a habit of needing
to repeatedly prove herself not only to others but to herself as well. She can
be very timid and at times very naive, most of which is due to her youth.
Her time at the Academy provided her with a lot of hurdles to leap. She was
younger then most of her class which she felt always made her the tag along
amongst her peers. She had a small circle of close friends who were often lower
classmen then herself. Other problems Sara faced while at the academy were her
mother’s presence there as a full time staff member and the legacy attached
to
her name. Attending S.F.M and then going into her internship helped in many
ways. It was the first time she was away from home and given the ability to
live on her own and grow up.
Personally Sara is a well rounded young woman with all kinds of interests,
such as music, dance, outdoor activities, exercise, food, and reading. Sara
tends to be on the quiet and shy side for the most part, but do not be fooled;
Sara does have a temper, something that has gotten her in trouble from time to
time since childhood. Sara is over all a loving and nurturing person, and an
officer willing to learn and grow. She has a lot of trouble accepting praise
for
her work, and is more then willing to agree with criticism.
Sara’s only vice is her admitted addiction to coffee.
Psychological Profile Update: I
Sara has grown a lot since coming aboard the Banshee. She becomes more self
confident in her work everyday and is adjusting normally to her new position.
It will take time for her to fully adjust to the newness of being a department
head, but it will happen. She is a very open and caring person, which you can
clearly see in her personal relationships. Her only problems are a personal
lack of self confidence, which has started to change as she’s found herself
in a
newly defining relationship with a loved one. The other problem she has is a
sense of fear towards her Captain which has become more intense since her two
trips to the Captain‘s ready room for disciplinary actions. Sara has slowly
started to work on both problems. She is becoming more concerned for herself
and not trying so hard to conform for the sake of the people around her. As for
her fear of Captain Morrigan, that to will change as Sara begins to work more
closely with her.
Psychological Profile Update: II
Sara seems to be a totally different person then she was a year ago. She’s
become more confident and secure in her role as the chef medical officer as
well
as in her professional relationships with peers and superiors. However,
personally, Sara has been facing some very difficult and stressing issues.
She’s
recently recovered repressed memories about a past relationship with Rhiannon
Morrigan. Memories in which Sara’s discovered that not only were they close
at
one point but that she was the cause of Rhiannon sustaining serious injuries.
The support from her romantic relationship with her ‘Imzadi’ has been a
major catalyst for Sara’s growth. The relationship it’s self has faced
it’s fair
share of problems, starting with cultural differences, adding in work hazards
and near fatal away missions, and ending with unintentional third party
inference. Yet though everything the couple has come out with a stronger
attachment
and deepening relationship.
Psychological Profile Update: III
The stress in Sara’s life has increased due to several major factors. First
there was the long mission to Ju Ju III where Sara spent time in command of the
second away team sent to the surface. An away mission in which she fell into
conflict with the Chief of Security over his over protectiveness, while they
looked for the information needed by Vice Admiral Grey. The information was
recovered but not before her team was ambushed. Several members of the away
team,
including Sara herself, were injured. For this reason, allowing people under
her command to be injured in an ambush attack, Sara believes she was only
given half a promotion during the last round of promotions and in her mind
rightfully so. The injury on JuJu wasn’t the only one Sara received during
this
assignment. She was also shot more severally while on an away mission with at
the
time Commander Andros aboard the USS Nightingale.
The second major stress factor of recent events was the ever changing face of
the Banshee’s CO. It isn’t so much the fact that there is a new CO, she
actually holds Captain Andros in high regards, but the stressing factor here is
the loss of Captain Rhiannon Morrigan. A loss Sara takes personally due to the
nature of her personal relationship with Morrigan. Sara feels cheated in the
loss of opportunity in dealing with the personal issues that still stand
between
the two of them.
Finally added to everything else, Sara was forced to deal with her Betazoid
maternal grandmother in regards to her wedding to Cyanah Kaelyre. The conflict
over who’s wedding plans would prevail was only solved by Sara and Cyanah’s
decision to marry on Cyanah’s home planet of Delos after her mothers offered
to
give them what they wanted hassle free.
Since returning to Banshee from her stay on Delos, Sara has started to show
an even greater increase in self confidence. It would seem that marriage to her
Imzadi above all else has helped her to grow up the most, at least to date.
Medical Profile and History:
Sara Crusher is a female Human/Betazoid hybrid with normal attributes for an
individual of her age and genus type. She has a fondness for physical fitness
and some athletics. These activities are the major reasons behind most of her
personal injuries; such as broken bones and major lacerations from playing
parrises squares, or participating in a Mok’bara match. She was also treated
for
a severe concussion after being thrown from a horse while on vacation with a
group of friends from the academy. Sara has had no major illnesses, with the
exception of the Vulcan equivalent of chicken pox at age 7 after spending time
on Vulcan with her father.
The only identifying marks Sara has are a barley noticeable scar above her
left eye brow from a cut she received in a pool hall fight, and a small freckle
type birth mark just below her belly button. Only once has Sara ever required
surgery; when she was attacked by a romulan while on an away mission. She was
stabbed in the leg which required surgery to repair the muscle and tissue that
was torn by the jagged blade. The surgery was fallowed up by two weeks of
physical therapy.
Medical Update: I
Sara was infected and nearly died from a mysterious Cardassian virus. The
virus caused among other things, severe headaches, muscle spasms, and
hallucinations. The virus, which slowly attacks the body’s systems one by
one, caused Sara
’s heart to stop for two and half minutes. She was revived and given the cure
which was developed by former Banshee doctors, Coren Terje and Anthony D’
Vorak, just before any more of her major systems could go into arrest. Sara
then
spent seventy-two hours unconscious. Once Sara regained consciousness she began
the long recovery process which kept her off duty for three weeks.
Medical Update: II
During an away mission on the planet of JuJu III, Sara was shot with a
standard federation style hand phaser. Her injuries were minimal and were
treated on
site. However while a member of the boarding party sent over to the USS
Nightingale Sara was again shot. This time by a federation style phaser rife.
The
injury to the upper collar bone area of her chest was serious, but only triaged
while Sara remained on the Nightingale. She wouldn’t allow herself to be sent
back to the Banshee until she received the all clear from Andros. Once
returned to Banshee the chest wound was treated and Sara was monitored and
treated
for any possible infection that might have set in due to her refusal to have
the wound treated right away.
