:ON: Jazzy paced up and down the corridor. She had been summoned away from the Athena at a critical point in a negotiations. Admiral Oren hadn't said why, nor had he allowed Jazzy a chance at rebuttal. He simple said she was to report immediately to Starfleet HQ, and then ended the transmission. At that time Jazzy had been ticked. She informed Ronov about the orders, and took off immediately in the Toira. She had made good time, and when she was close to Earth she got a new transmission for a change of location. All she received was a coded message with coordinates. The codes for the message were authentic, but the coordinates were meaningless. At least, meaningless until she arrived. Starfleet databanks indicated that the coordinates she had been given would put her in an empty region of space inside the neutral zone. Jazzy was not particularly happy with this location. At least the ship she was in had a Rihannsu name and a cloaking device. If the Rihannsu were to catch a federation ship in the neutral zone, they would not be happy. When she arrived at the coordinates she was surprised to find a base out in the middle of no where. She reported in as ordered and been told to wait in this corridor until called into the Conference room. That ticked her off more. There were better things she could be doing with her time then waiting here. She had already been waiting in the corridor for over an hour. Jazzy was fairly certain that this was about the T'Kil and the Elder bases. There would be no other reason for why she was called here. But, why was she not invited in to the meeting? She should have a right to whatever information they had on the T'Kil or Elders, as it would help her do her job better. It was another half hour before she was invited in. Sitting around the table were 3 Starfleet Admirals, including Admiral Oren, and 3 Rihannsu Enriovs, one of whom looked strangely familiar. As she walked in their eyes all focused on her. Admiral Oren introduced Jazzy to the rest assembled, but failed to mention any of their names. He then proceeded to interrogate her about the latest reports from the Beta Quadrant, wondering about lack of progress. She explained about the current find in the Beta Quadrant. She held her tongue about the fact that they had taken her away from negotiations for access to the most promising Elder base. Occasionally the other Admirals would put in a question or two of their own. The Rihannsu remained rather quiet, listening to what was being said. Though, they eyed her with a little disdain. Jazzy was sure that one in particular would rather have seen someone else in command, most likely a Rihannsu officer. After about an hour of interrogation she was dismissed and told that she was not permitted to leave the base until further notice. With that, Jazzy stormed out of the room, wishing she could slam the automatic door. :OFF: Captain Jazmine Mergahn CO USS Athena
