I found a juvenile PACIFIC GOLDEN - PLOVER on the mud flats around triangle
island today in the Umpqua river estuary. Access is by boat only. I'll
throw some pictures into a blog post when I get home tomorrow.
I also found a RED KNOT. I have found one or more on three of the last five
weekends I have birded these flats. It's pretty neat!
There were also 2 black- necked stilts still hanging around at fords pond
in sutherlin.
