My male Calliope did a feeding behavior I had not seen before. Just prior
to puling its bill out of the feeder it madly swished it tail side to side
and upward. Peterson Field Guides of Hummingbirds says "often cocks tail
upward, perpendicular to body, while hovering at flowers or feeders" This
was a much more side to side fast movement along with the upward direction.
(Thanks Matt for the book!)
