Sorry to hear that. Two Springs ago a large contingency of us got to spend
some time with her on her property. Her enthusiasm for the birds and
sharing them with us is a good memory. I believe that same morning she had
a Caliope hummingbird come to one of her feeders too!

David Lantz, Portland area, messaged me today to let me know that his
mother, Kay Owens, passed away on Tuesday. Kay lived on Cleveland Rapids
Rd (on the way to Cleveland Rapids Park), enjoyed the birds at her feeder
and property, and enjoyed photographing them. Kay hosted some of our
Christmas Bird Counters a couple years ago and David said she really
enjoyed having those visitors sharing her birds.
