Thanks for the info (horrific as it is). Do you know how to easily locate claim
information in Douglas County? Mining claim locations used to be easy to locate
in most states via "tax"-type records (the payments required to keep the claim
active.) I'm not familiar with how it works in D.C. and would like to know if
any are in my area.Thanks,
