This morning Lisa and I did some exploring. At one point on the SW end of
Melrose Road I could hear a RED-EYED VIREO far to the SW of us. We drove
down to a point on Flournoy Valley Rd where it seemed we would be closer,
and we could hear it fairly well, about 100 m north of our location in some
mixed riparian and adjacent woods. Parking location was about 900 ft W of
the junction of Melrose Rd. and Flournoy Valley Rd., in a paved entrance to
a field gate on the north side of Flournoy Valley Rd. Coordinates of
parking area: 43.2341251,-123.4862664. eBird checklist and location at

I obtained a "not very loud" but adequate voice recording with my cell
phone.
