Notice to residents of the Uptown Community:

The University of Cincinnati is committed to the safety and vitality of our
Uptown neighborhood.  Please report violations of this commitment to the
University. The University will cooperate fully with the Cincinnati Police
to secure the arrest and conviction of anyone engaged in illegal activity.
In addition, the University will enforce the Student Code of Conduct and
relevant sections of the Ohio Revised Code wherever applicable.

As a University Neighbor, you can help.

If you witness a crime in progress, call 911.

To report criminal activity, call
Cincinnati Police at 765-1212.

To provide information about a reported crime, call
Crime Stoppers at 352-3040.

If you have questions about the behavior of UC Students,
call the University of Cincinnati Office of Judicial
Affairs at:  556-6814.




Notice to UC Students:

Ohio House Bill 95, codified in Section 3333.38 of the Ohio Revised Code,
has created penalties for riotous behavior by students on and around
university campuses.  The new law requires state colleges and universities
to immediately expel any student guilty of aggravated rioting or rioting. In
addition, any student guilty of aggravated rioting, rioting, failure to
disperse, or misconduct at an emergency will be ineligible to receive any
student financial assistance supported by state funds for two calendar
years.
