[UHNA] CUF: Summary of the October Trustee Meeting

Issues of interest:
* Treasure's report included $420.00 for fixing 14 cats.
* CHCURC:
* Trustees voted to accept Matt Bourgeois' offer to represent CUF with
the Empowerment Zone program. (Matt is head of CHCURC, and Empowerment Zone
is a grant to assist businesses.)
* Trustees voted to send a letter supporting the development of office
space, retail space, and condos in the area south of UC. The emphasis was on
owner-occupied housing and retaining at least some green space.
* The city is seeking state funds to revitalize Clifton Avenue from
Vine Street to McMillan.
* Trustees voted to send the Give Back organization a thank-you letter
and t-shirts in gratitude for their landscaping and painting a few weeks ago
in the business district.
