Greetings Folks
I have a feeling that this is one of those which is correct *either way* in
UEB, but just want to check.
We have had an example where there are 4 words in full capitals, followed by
the symbol for Trademark (Unicode 2122).
When we run it through Duxbury, the termination sign appears after the 4-5 t.
Of course, if the symbol is spaced, the termination sign appears before the 4-5
t. (This makes sense and is not part of the query.)
My question:
Is it *also correct* for the termination sign to appear after the words, but
*before* the unspaced symbol?
As the TM is considered a symbol, rather than the letters T and M - just as the
Copyright (Unicode 00a9) or the Registered sign (Unicode 00ae), I could see an
argument for either/both being correct.
What say you, wise folk?
Margaret
