Subject: [ueb-ed] Mathematics - a warning about Word
A number of support calls of late have highlighted a potential problem,
especially with mathematical entry.
An example might be "log y" if it is at the beginning of a line in Word.
Hence you might not even notice that it has become "Log y".
This is due to options in the "Autocorrect" feature in Word which is shown
below from Word 2010.
If you are producing math material, I strongly suggest unchecking the three
capitalisation options shown below.
