This week's session will be -
Building a Web Site - an automated approach
(Part of investigation into Redevelopment of the AV U3A club web-site)
Level Required - Knowledge of Aylesbury Vale U3A and familiarity with the
WWW
Preparation - Further consideration of what you think the AV U3A web-site
should contain and how it should be presented.
Content - On-the-fly development of a web-site using WordPress
I shall give an outline of the WordPress system - from off-the-shelf to
bespoke tailoring - and, before your very eyes and without the aid of a
safety net I shall create an Internet accessible web-site to your
specification and in the process show the trade-off between appearance &
functionality and ease of creation and maintenance works.
