[TURC] Re: Harper's economic failures: links and Twitter Q&A: Wed Aug 5 12-1 pm

Where is the key chart, summarizing the economic records of all nine PMs?
I’ve seen that chart, but can’t seem to find it again. Can anyone direct me
to it?

Thanks,

Linda McQuaig

Dear Friends;

As most of you know, Unifor released a big study last week documenting the
economic records of the postwar Prime Ministers, showing that Harper’s
record is by far the worst of any PM (serving at least one full year) since
1946. Here again are links to the full study, and a 4-minute video summary
we have produced:

Also posted below is a summary table that shows where Harper ranked on each
of the 16 traditional indicators we considered.

Please note all these indicators were measured with annual data only up to
2014 (year average), so they don’t take into account the current downturn.
If we used 2015 data in this analysis, he would have looked even worse.

We are hosting a one-hour Q&A session on Twitter on Wednesday (August 5)
about the study, and about Harper’s miserable economic record generally.
The session will run from 12 to 1. I expect a lot of action from “trolls”
during the session, and would greatly appreciate some informed and positive
queries (about our methodology, about economic alternatives to Harper’s
approach, etc.) to balance things out. So please send your questions (using
my handle, @JimboStanford, and the hashtag #HarperEconomy) at noon-hour on
Wednesday.

Many thanks for your interest & support!

Jim
