QuickTip: Figuring out drive storage capabilities in "plain English!"

Using Google's plain English calculator, you can quickly determine how many
files will fit on your hard drive, without having to add all those horrible
zeros that make it so confusing. Suppose you have a big, 2-terabyte hard
drive and you want to know how many MP3 files you can get on it. Let's
assume the average MP3 is 4 megabytes (four million bytes) in size. Just
go to Google and type in:

two trillion divided by four million

The answer comes right up, also in plain English:

"five hundred thousand"

If you want to know how many WAV files, divide by 40 megabytes (forty
million bytes).

HINT: You can substitute the math symbol "/" if you prefer, rather than
typing-out "divided by."
