Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be part of a development team working on real-time
applications used for mission critical public safety communications
products. Candidates must be organized, detail oriented, analytical, and
self-motivated. Candidates must also be flexible and able to assist in the
development of other projects. Candidates must possess the ability to
design, prototype and implement solutions. They must also write unit tests,
use cases, and detailed design documents.
· Collaborating with engineers within and outside the facility
· Designing and documenting solutions that fulfill requirements
· Writing unit tests to verify functionality
· Rapid prototyping of new features
Qualifications:
· Experience with Unix/Linux, Windows, Android
· Experience with TCP/UDP Network programming
· Experience with Databases
· BS in Computer Science or related field
· 10 years of development experience
· Fluent in Java
Preferred Additional Skills:
· Fluent in any of C#, C++, C
· Experience with the Android SDK/NDK
· Experience in client-server and application development
· Experience working with Location Data (GPS, A-GPS)
· Technologies: SQL, JNI, Web Services, HA
· MS in Computer Science or related field
