The problem has finally been solved!!!!!! I wanted to report back in case anyone on the forum ever has a similar issue. After weeks and weeks of investigating and trying nearly everything under the sun to fix the Adobe Flash refusal to install problem, I finally found a way around the mess. I could not change the permission to Full Access; only Authenticated User had that privilege. So the solution I used was to use right click and select TakeCharge. (http://preview.tinyurl.com/32hf32) I have been trying to use the app on the downloaded file itself but the TakeCharge option was not there. Finally I right clicked on MyDownloads where the file was located and the option was there. So I "Took Charge" of the entire contents of the folder: All the downloads I have done since Vista. It was a massive listing. After that when I clicked on the install file it finished in only a few seconds. It accomplished the install even though the permission still had not changed to Full for Brian (Brians-W7PC\Brian), or Administrator(Brians-W7PC\Brian\Administrator! I finally have Flash Version 11 installed. Now I can finally get back to some more productive undertakings!
