Justus, et. al. :

I'm only a periphery 'member' of the WoC group but I'm saddened to hear this news.  Both my mothers recently had to battle cancers that came out of remission after receiving the _____.  Related? Maybe.  They appear to be OK for now BTW.

Regardless, for the rest of us, I share these which I've paid much attention to recently.  These aren't links to all the answers but maybe it helps somebody find a direction and material to bring to their doctor (remember, you are in charge of your own life).

[this one is long but he goes through his process of discovery .. a heart surgeon that discovers the benefits in pre-operation prep, and then further to topic of cancer]

I'll leave it at that.  It is way off topic but in the memory of Brian, it is something to share.

Hey everybody,

Bryan will definitely be missed.  He was fairly tight lipped about his struggle.  A quick example was he told me in November that he didn't want to "spoil anyone's time or be a distraction at World of Commodore", and he'd let people know slowly in the coming months.  The incredible speed of his cancer, and his optimistic outlook didn't afford him the ability to reach out personally to many friends.

Sincerely,

Justus (Herk)

What? I had no idea. I have known him for 15 years. I never heard
that he was sick. This is shocking! He will definitely be missed!

        Sad news...

After a brief battle with kidney cancer, our friend Brian Pope
passed away this morning at 8:22am.

Thank-you to all that were able to visit him at Grand View in
Kitchener and thank-you to all that were a big or small part
of his life. He greatly appreciated it.

        He will be missed.
