It's blowing like crazy here today but last night the winds were calm. The poor Tiger Swallowtails are having a hard time dealing with this wind and supposedly it's going to get worse as the day goes on. I didn't even try to attract any moths, my sheet was blowing like a sail! Perhaps the wind was a factor in the small number of moths many of you saw last night. Only 6 moths showed up and 2 of those were Green Cloverworms. I wonder if I'm in one of those transition periods that Merrill was theorizing about? How did everyone else do?
