On Sunday while heading to Hawkins and Hancock Counties in search of insects,
Audrey Hoff and I stopped at a Weigels in the Gibbs area of east Knox County
and
stared at the outside wall of the building....finding a few moths. Identified
were:

Beautiful Wood-Nymph - Eudryas grata
- http://www.flickr.com/photos/avian_pursuits/5878970379/
Clymene Moth - Haploa clymene
- http://www.flickr.com/photos/avian_pursuits/5878970169/
Armyworm moth - Mythimna unipuncta
- http://www.flickr.com/photos/avian_pursuits/5878970445/
Pink-washed Looper - Enigmogramma basigera
- http://www.flickr.com/photos/avian_pursuits/5879534014/

Also found was a Bidens Borer - Epiblema otiosana
- http://www.flickr.com/photos/avian_pursuits/5879534690/ - in Hancock County.

Rain in the morning seriously hindered further moth-finding.

If you look at the photos and think any is mis-identified, please let me
know. David Trently
