A very nice moth. Keep watching for them as they fly throughout the spring and
summer. Also watch for the similar Closebanded Yellowhorn (Colocasia
propinquilinea).

Subject: [tn-moths] An additional first
I reported my first "Kent's Geometer" at my home in Fiery Gizzard Cove in
Marion County on Thursday night. An additional first for me was a wonderful
"Yellowhorn" or "Colocasia flavicornis" (noctuidae). In the Moth information
on the internet there is a great photo by Ken Childs whose work is sometimes
shown on the Tn-moths. I guess I missed this one in other years by not starting
early enough.
