June 23 Rutherford Co TN If only I had waited 'til today to study bright golden yellow skippers I would not have puzzled over the one or two I saw yesterday. Sachems (males) were on every damp rock I saw today. Most were very faintly marked but enough had more typical Sachem markings. All were bright and fresh looking. Also had one Giant Swallowtail, FOY for Rutherford Co, and I think my first of the year. Richard Connors Nashville
