While going though some old pictures on my computer, I came across some
pictures of a mystery pearly-eye that I submitted to BAMONA in September 2016
for which I never received any sort of confirmation (still shows as Pending).
Since I'm not sure of the ID, I figured I would post the pics here with the
hope that someone can provide a conclusive ID. It was found on our front porch
by my daughter, and was barely moving and apparently near death. I was able to
get some close-up shots and based on my limited research, I think it's a Creole
Pearly-eye (based on the black antennal club, spot pattern, and PM line) which
would be a new record for Sumner Co. Any and all opinions are welcome.
