I've seen a lot of coupled Little Yellows lately but I haven't seen any laying 
eggs.

Subject: [TN-Butterflies] Little Yellow egg on Partridge pea (Chamaecrista 
fasciculata)

On the Nashville Count Saturaday, I saw a Little Yellow laying eggs on this 
Partridge pea. It laid 3 or 4, then rested and nectared, then resumed 
egg-laying. This continued for several minutes. It was before noon, hot and 
sunny. Good thing, because this plant "folds up" when the sun goes in. So, I 
wonder if egg-laying for the Little Yellow is confined to sunny days, hmmm...
