It rained all day last Saturday, but on Sunday the 25th, we had a few hours to sally forth into Polk County.  These photos were all taken Sunday afternoon.
We were able to find 40 species.  Some noteworthy species were :    Variegated Fritillary, Red-Spotted Purple Admiral, Cabbage White, American Copper, Great Purple Hendrixstreak, (read Glassberg's description) Monarch, Hoary Edge, Horace's Duskywing, Mottled Duskywing, Sachems, and Dusted Skippers.
