Barry Hart and I were exploring Walker Branch State Natural Area in Hardin
County, TN on September 2, 2009. The following butterflies are new records for
the county:

1. Sachem

2. Tawny emperor

We watched what we identified as a Dun Skipper excreting droplets of clear
liquid onto Barry's hat. The skippers probiscus was fully extended and appeared
to be lapping up the clear liquid that it was excreting. We didn't time this
but it lasted for over 1-minute. I took a video of it if anyone is interested.
