Knox Co., April 10, 2011

Patty Harmon's mountain-top driveway approx. 10 miles east of Knoxville had
the following butterflies on a hot sunny Sunday afternoon:

Goatweed Leafwing - 2 (photo submitted to BAMONA), patrolling (also saw
Saturday)
Black Swallowtail (chased by Goatweed Leafwing)
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
 Falcate Orangetip
Mourning Cloak
Clouded/Orange Sulphur sp.

Good birding too - we saw Great Crested Flycatcher and heard Red-eyed Vireo
and Scarlet Tanager and others.
