Yesterday I saw a mourning cloak and a Polygonia. Neither was willing to
pose for a photo. Toothworts were popping out of the ground everywhere, so
falcated orangetips can not be far behind. I was a bit surprised not to see
one yesterday.

In past years I've gotten photos of anglewings at this time of year, and
they've been question marks. Is it safe to assume the one I saw yesterday
was also a question mark, or do some of the other species also make
late-February appearances?
