I have watched Sleepy Orange deposit eggs on Senna species at the Manor, but
not the individual Senna plant that I found this caterpillar today. However,
an egg looking like this species was observed on the plant earlier. This is
the largest of the Sennas at the manor and I have not looked at it for a
while. Today I found it half denuded with a large green caterpillar that I
think is a Sleepy Orange. The caterpillar was not present at 6:15 p.m. Your
thoughts are appreciated.
