Aren't birders wonderful? I received replies from 16 of you--all with the
same basic information, and some with some extra helpful tips. Lisa, Vida,
and I thank you very much.--also good to hear from some friends that have
known me for some time. BUT Bud Pulliam, you made my day! I'm 84 years
old, and climbing fences is definitely in my past now; but you give me
courage to think maybe just one more ( a very low one with no barb wire, and
NEVER, NEVER to flush a rare bird) I do have a scope and will practice my
best birding manners.

Again, all replies much appreciated--perhaps, I'll see some of you there.

P.S. I did finally get a Pine Siskin at my thistle feeder two days ago,
along with a Yellow-rump, and a Pine Warbler
