This evening the west-to-east return Robin flux was quite impressive,
so we went for a drive to see if we could get a better sense of the
location of the roost. On a short drive 5 miles towards Hohenwald,
we must have seen well over 10,000 Robins, all heading easterly.
This would suggest the possibility of a huge roost of 100,000s of
birds (maybe 1,000,000s of birds... a MegaRobin?) somewhere east of
Hohenwald. I hope to track it down this coming week.
