A Spring BirdBlitz (like a Spring Bird Count but not planned to be repeated annually) is scheduled for Jackson County, TN, April 26, 2008. I think this is the first bird survey of any sort to occur in the county, with the exception of whatever Breeding Bird Atlas work took place there during the 6-year atlas project. Drop a line if you care to take part in this event.
