TWRA's Region II radio operator can be contacted at 1-800-624-7406. I called today to be sure they are there on this weekend and that they have a list of rehabilitators. He/she has a list of raptor and other wildlife rehabilitators, as listed by county. I suggest that you get both the addresses and telephone numbers of a few closest rehabbers so that you can call to verify that they are available today. For the benefit of others who may need to make such contacts, especially when other TWRA offices are closed (weekends and 4:30 - midnight), the following are toll free numbers for TWRA's Regional Radio Operators: TWRA Region I Office at Jackson (west of Kentucky Lake): 1-800-372-3928 TWRA Region II office at Nashville (Kentucky Lake eastward to generally west of the Wilson-DeKalb county line: 1-800-624-7406 TWRA Region III office at Crossville (generally east of Wilson-Dekalb County line to Roane-Loudon County line: 1-800-262-6704 TWRA Region IV office at Morristown (generally east of Roane-Loudon County line): 1-800-332-0900 Bob Hatcher Brentwood, TN ************** ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Sanders" <sand5055@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "tnbird" <tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, January 21, 2006 10:30 AM Subject: [TN-Bird] barred owl Can someone put me in touch with the wildlife rehab specialist in southern middle Tennessee??
