I checked the creek crossings at Hebron Road and Baldy Ford Road this morning
with decent results. FOY birds included prothonatary warbler, indigo bunting,
eastern kingbird and a handful of blue Grosbeaks at baldy ford. Also swung by
the race track on 452, following in the footsteps of Stephen Zipperer, and got
my first grasshopper sparrow. Thanks to Stephen for the tip. Anyone who birds
south of Lebanon should definitely check out baldy ford and hebron. Both are
accessible from Simmons bluff and have been fairly productive.
Happy migration Justin Nation
