Nice find. These have been moving north from the Gulf over the past 25-30
years. I recall a friend of mine in Guin, AL (about 80 miles south of the
state line with TN) had one in his yard about 20 years ago, and I think
that was the northernmost sighting in AL at the time. I think they are
fairly widespread in southern Alabama now.
