1 May 2004 Greeneville; Wal-Mart Distribution Center (WMDC) and other sites in western Greene County (Linda Northrop also present); Tusculum area (Linda Northrop also present) I observed the following today: Northern Pintail (female, WMDC) (very late date); Red-shouldered Hawk (Brown's Bridge Road, near Tusculum); Northern Bobwhite; Spotted Sandpiper (WMDC); Least Sandpiper (WMDC); White-rumped Sandpiper (Green Road) (quite a bit earlier than my other spring observations in Greene County); Wilson's Snipe (4); Red-headed Woodpecker (Green Road); Northern Parula (Greeneville); Chestnut-sided Warbler (Greeneville); Cape May Warbler (2 Greeneville); Blackburnian Warbler (Greeneville); Summer Tanager (Green Road); Baltimore Oriole (Greeneville).
