Percy Warner Park
Nashville-Davidson Co., TN
16 July, 2004
Today on the Warner Woods and Mossy Ridge Trails in Percy Warner Park I heard a
wood thrush on four separate occasions. A distance of at least 0.5 miles
separated each song. So, while I may have been hearing the same bird on more
than one occasion, I'm hoping that I had as many as four wood thrushes there
this morning. Since this species number appears down in Tennessee, the songs
were an especially good enhancement to my walk in the woods.
