As Bill and others predicted, big turnover this morning, though I did not hear migrants calling overhead last night as I often do. Lots of new arrivals in the yard in just over an hour of birding this morning here on Black Oak Ridge in west Knox Co. New arrivals: Wood Thrush, heard only Veery Gray Catbird Magnolia Warbler Cape May Warbler Chestnut-sided Warbler American Redstart Summer Tanager Indigo Bunting, several Blue Grosbeak Plus Eastern Wood-Pewee Great Crested Flycatcher Red-eyed Vireo, seemed to be more than just the two resident pair Black-throated Green Warbler, 3+ Myrtle Yellow-rumped Warbler, ~10 Dean Edwards Knoxville, TN Sent from my iPhone=================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER==================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
