Walter S. Davis Blvd Marsh
Davidson Co.
Nashville, TN
2022 Jan 4
Stopped by the Walter S. Davis Blvd Marsh in mid-morning. Large numbers
of dabblind ducks in the lake, especially GREEN-WINGED TEAL and GADWALL.
The NORTHERN PINTAIL that has been there since at least Christmas day
was found in the river area. Also the male mallard x northern pintail
hybrid returned a couple weeks ago and was seen again this morning. He
likely is the same bird that was first seen there in December 2017.
He appears to have come back each winter since.
