Dear all, As some of you know, I have been working on Cerulean Warbler migration ecology for several years. I am formulating a theory for the migration strategy for this species and I need as many early spring Cerulean records as I can get. I've gotten a number of records from e-bird, but I'd like to encourage folks to specifically go out looking for Ceruleans STARTING NOW through late April. Your records can be sent directly to me, or submitted Cornell's ebird website <www.ebird.org> GPS location is best, otherwise please include a description detailed enough that I can guestimate the lat/long. The judicious use of playback in known Cerulean Warbler breeding areas would be appropriate to establish presence. (If a bird responds, please quit the playback at that location.) I would GREATLY appreciate your help with this. I'll be sending this plea to all area list-serves. Thank you in advance. Now you have another excuse to go birding!!
