Heritage Center Greenway Powerhouse Trail

After checking over several years I finally had a Virginia Rail at the
Powerhouse Trail (aka Beaver Ponds) at the East Tennessee Technology Park. The
rail made three separate vocalizations but never made an appearance. It was
located in a marshy area on the left past the old beaver ponds. The marsh area
has been created by beavers damming up the pond and expanding the water into
the surrounding field.
