[TN-Bird] Vesper Sparrow - Bells Bend Park (Davidson Co.)

This morning while doing some work out in the park, I had at least one Vesper
Sparrow (possibly three) in the same general area where Ed Schneider and I had
a group of three on the CBC a few weeks ago. If anyone wants to look for them,
here are directions. Go to the first entrance for the park (not the Nature
Center entrance) and park there. Walk around the locked gate and take that path
until it forks. Go right. Continue on and you'll see a large field on your
right with lots of broomsedge. Walk until you begin to see trees on the
righthand side of the path and you'll be in the area where the birds were first
spotted. My sighting today occurred several hundred yards farther along the
trail.

If you flush any sparrows pay special attention to those that fly up into a
nearby tree. Vespers have a habit of doing that, and that's how I noticed these
birds.

Good luck!
