Yea, we had a case here in Gibson County in Humboldt a few years ago where
a local businessman was charged with poisoning Red-tails, Kestrels,
vultures, etc. He paid a fine but I don't remember the amount. I
certainly will not ever buy any furniture from his store though!

There was a case in Shelby Co., AL a few years back, in which the perps (a
hunt
club) had destroyed several dozen redtails, if memory serves. The total
fine
was $1000, I believe. Birmingham area residents may remember the case.
