Still a few reports out but we have added some nice species. David Trently's group confirmed Fish Crow on count day, and we added a couple of birds from unexpected places today. A co-worker mentioned to me this morning that they have a Red-headed Woodpecker coming to their feeder for peanuts and sunflower seed. I had him confirm the ID and that they did see it on the day of the count. Then Lyn Bales received photos of a SUMMER TANAGER coming to someone's suet feeder... which also happens to be in the count circle. We are trying to confirm that the bird was seen Sunday but it will at least be a very nice count week bird.
