After two days of searching in extremely cold temperatures I finally spotted the Townsend Solitaire again late this afternoon around 4:30 PM. I had almost given up on ever seeing this bird again. As I sat waiting patiently in the late afternoon sunshine low and behold it suddenly reappeared to get another drink of water on the barn roof. I was taking in all the identifiable field marks on this bird when suddenly the Cardinals and the Solitaire were spooked by something and everything disappeared. So far there does not appear to be a pattern or special time of day to expect to see the bird however if you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me....(865) 992-3611 The Satterfields - Stephen and Rebecca Luttrell, TN - Union County =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
