Below is a summary of what Damien Simbeck has offered to take us to for one of the field trips at the TOS State Winter Meeting this Saturday, January 24 in Decatur, AL.? The other offered trip will go to Wheeler Refuge with Dwight Cooley.? We can leave Priceville and head west.? Depending upon how much time the group wants to spend out-and-about, we can either head straight toward Wheeler and Wilson Dams, or we can make a few stops along the way (Fox Creek/Trinity landfill-gulls; Mallard Creek-loons; Spring Creek-loons; Town Creek Marsh-shorebirds, gulls; The Point-gulls, waterfowl).? If anyone is interested in a longer day, we could also visit some of the area sinkhole ponds for waterfowl. Hope to see you there!
