The Swifts are in at the Tullahoma High School. I went over about 8:15 PM this evening, 20June14, by myself------my birding buddies for this are all on vacations. The birds started dropping in the chimney shortly after-----not as many as years past, but then I realized----we have never counted them soon after arrival before-----and it occurred to me that we are counting the adult males and females now; and when they are getting ready to leave, the added family. The last ones dropped in at 8:35 PM. One person counting is slightly difficult, but I'm going with a rough count of 2000 for tonight--- will get some help and go for accuracy after this. The Nighthawk flying all around was pleasant to hear. Ruth Luckado HRTOS Tullahoma, Tn. Coffee Co
