A good number of SNOW GEESE were across the lake late this evening at dusk at Cove Lake State Park, Campbell County, TN. There were several White and Blue morph for a total of at least 40 geese. The lighting was awful, and from the distance I was viewing, I could not tell if there were any Ross's, though 4 looked suspiciously small in the binoculars. This is the most Snow Geese I have seen in E. TN at one time. If you check the birdlines, it seems that Snow Geese and Ross are turning up all over the Eastern Region already this year in good numbers.
