GSMNP today from ~12 - 2 pm. It was very warm and a little crowded as expected. Along the road to Tremont I had my first of season Black-Throated Green Warbler - a singing male at close range doing 2 variations of his song back to back. I then heard my first of season Louisiana Waterthrush further up the road and finally saw another perched and singing above a tall cascade on the opposite side of the road as the river. At the Chestnut Top Trail next to the "Y" I walked about 1/4 mile up and had another 2 Black-Thr. Greens. I saw a Question Mark butterfly as well and many of the white-colored wildflowers were in bloom (bloodroot, hepatica, rue-anemone, etc.).
